Sena's 50 Series offers a whole new level of motorbike communication. Thanks to the improved technology of Mesh 2.0, a robust and reliable connection is guaranteed. The individual units of the Sena 50S exchange active information at an amazing speed. Through a sophisticated system of prompts and responses, 80% more data is transmitted even under difficult conditions. The flexible intercoms search for an optimal transmission path over each Mesh 2.0 unit so that a driver-to-driver conversation can be successfully transferred. Unparalleled intercom audio quality and robust connectivity are the results of the new Mesh 2.0 technology. The Mesh 2.0 network has been tested in the most demanding situations and has proven that it can keep the communication link with your passengers clear and stable.
OPEN MESH MULTI-CHANNEL COMMUNICATION AND PRIVATE GROUP CONVERSATIONS
The Sena 50S offers three different communication modes: Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom™, Group Mesh Intercom™ and Bluetooth Intercom.
The Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom™ (Open Mesh) offers the industry's first Mesh Intercom™ with a multi-channel system. The function is similar to a CB radio and allows the Sena 50S to switch between nine different channels while in Open Mesh mode. A single button press connects to the Mesh 2.0 intercom network. This allows a connection with an almost unlimited number of users, with a range of up to 8 km (min. 6 riders at 1.6 km intervals). This simplified connection method offers immense added value for large groups.
If private group communication is preferred, there is the option to switch to Group Mesh Intercom™ mode. With this mode, a private group with up to 24 participants can be created, which have the same range as in Open Mesh mode. To ensure privacy, only invited users can join the group communication here.
There is also the option to create a classic 4-way Bluetooth communication. This allows other Sena devices to be connected within a range of up to 2 km.

The new 50 Series communication systems feature Sound by Harman Kardon for a completely new sound experience. The speakers and microphone have been developed in collaboration with the audio experts at Harman Kardon to guarantee premium sound. The new microphone is equipped with a state-of-the-art sensor that ensures optimal performance for voice transmission while driving. The new speakers guarantee significantly improved sound quality.
EASY CONTROL WITH VOICE COMMANDS
To operate your 50S, voice commands give you easy control over the communication system's functions, such as answering phone calls or starting a group mesh session. Voice commands are available in eight languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.
The 50S connects to Google and Apple digital assistants, allowing full use of your smartphone, including GPS navigation, music playback, voice dialing and a host of other options. Need the fastest route to the nearest petrol station? Need to know where the nearest restaurant is? Do you need a hotel for the night? Or want to play your current playlist? All you have to say is "Hey Siri" or "Hey Google"! - this is how #RideConnected works
FAST CHARGING AND AUTOMATIC UPDATES WITH THE SENA WIFI ADAPTER
The Sena 50S communication system has a high energy density battery that charges 30% faster. The 50S is fully charged in just one hour and provides up to nine hours of talk time in mesh intercom mode or up to 14 hours in Bluetooth intercom mode. If the device is connected to the quick charge for 20 minutes, it can talk for up to 3.5 hours in Mesh Intercom mode or 6 hours in Blueooth Intercom mode. A WiFi adapter is included in the scope of delivery to ensure that your communication system is always charged and it can also be programmed to automatically install the available firmware updates on the device. To do this, the adapter must be connected to your WLAN network to set it up once. After that, it is able to detect and automatically install updates as soon as your device is connected. Keeping your Sena headset up to date has never been easier.
A NEW APP FOR THE NEW 50 SERIES
With the Sena 50 Utility App, you can optimise your 50S directly from your smartphone. Not only can you use the app to adjust various settings on the 50S and personalise them for yourself, but you can also, for example, perform Bluetooth intercom pairing or configure channel settings for Open Mesh or set a private group for Group Mesh. Create your FM radio presets and instantly select a favourite station to listen to. And if you want to give your music a boost, the app includes audio equaliser presets that let you explore brand new musical soundscapes.
