The Sand series is an icon in the REV'IT! lineup, embodying a distinctive style that has, over the years, defined travel within the motorcycle industry. That legacy continues with the Sand 5 H2O jacket.

The Evolution
The latest iteration of the Sand series represents an evolution rather than a revolution. This change is marked by small tweaks and adjustments aimed at enhancing its overall performance. The Sand 5 jacket (as part of the Sand 5 outfit with matching pants) remains as relevant today as it was 15 years ago. In crafting the Sand 5, a delicate balance is struck, paying homage to the past while looking towards the future.

Shifting Styles
The Sand 5 H2O jacket takes on a slightly more sport-driven character compared to the Sand 4. As adventure bikes become more sport-centric and dynamic, the Sand 5 H2O reflects this industry shift. Matching the fast-paced nature of sport and the thirst for the uncharted, the Sand 5 H2O jacket fuses two genres into one. Furthermore, the jacket is hydration pack prepared in the lower back pocket (like with our Trail vest), with a cutout in the left corner to feed a water tube underneath the arm and up the front to be attached on the left side.

The Over and Under Concept
Like we previously introduced in one of our ADV jackets?the Offtrack 2 H2O?we?ve taken our know-how of the proven over and under waterproof liner concept and applied it to our Sand 5 H2O jacket. Wear the detachable hydratex 3L liner over or under your protective layer according to your personalized preference for keeping the rain away?and keeping you dry. Though we recommend wearing it over because of the high-performance characteristics of the membrane and its design-driven aesthetics. A detachable, separately wearable thermal liner is also included to up the ante on warmth and comfort on cold, rainy days.--

Detachable hydratex|3L liner
- A 3-layer construction. The membrane has a layer of protective tricot laminated on each side of the membrane. This results in a waterproof and breathable membrane that is also very durable. This type of membrane also offers maximum flexibility, as it can be removed from the garment: wear the membrane inside the garment when the weather demands it, or take it out when you need maximum Ventilation.

Flexisnap at collar
- The REV’IT! flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar circumference easily and personalize its fit to each rider. A jacket is often worn in more then one season, and the flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar within seconds. During winter a wider collar circumference accommodates combining the jacket with a balaclava or wind collar, while during summer, a wider circumference lets an all-important cooling wind into the collar.

Fit:

Regular fit
- The Regular fit is designed for comfortable wear, and it’s tailored to suit different body shapes and sizes. However, it is not considered loose. It falls around the body instead of conforming to the rider's physique.

Long connection zipper
- The long connection zipper is the longer, more secure choice of our two connection zipper options. It lets you zip the motorcycle jacket and motorcycle pants together as one. For comfort and for safety.
Short connection zipper
- The short connection zipper is the shorter, simpler and quicker choice of our two connection zipper options. It lets you zip the motorcycle jacket and motorcycle pants together as one. For comfort and for safety.
Cuff zipper
- The zipper at the cuff allows for easier entry into the sleeve and lets you wear the glove cuff under your outer shell and over your base layer.
Soft edge at collar
- For extra comfort, the inside of the collar is covered with a soft fabric.
Two-way Collar Snap Closure System
- The two-way collar snap closure system works to close the collar in inclement weather and also flips back and reverses to use the same snap closure to keep the collar open and out of the way to allow in fresh air.
External hang loop
- Whether carrying the jacket or hanging it out to dry after a wet ride, the sturdy external hang loop is a practical addition to the design.
